Steve and Lisa Griswold Talk about the Truckster in the Vacation movie with Chevy Chase
Lisa and I had the pleasure to meet Chevy Chase, Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Skyler Gisondo, and Steele Stebbins, “The Griswolds” from the original and new Vacation Movies.
Our last name is “Griswold” just like in the original Vacation movies and now in the new Vacation movie where Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) takes his family to Walley World to relive the vacation he remembers as a child.

We went to the Hollywood premier of Vacation and the movie is hilarious. Everyone has a fond attachment to the original Vacation movie with Chevy Chase and the new Vacation stands on it’s own. I was really glad to see this franchise continued and the gags and story updated for the 2015 movie going crowd.
If you are a Vacation fan you are going to love the tributes back to the original movie. Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo make an appearance, and the Truckster has a staring role. It was really great when our Griswold Family Truckster appeared in the film and the audience in the movie theater went wild.
This film is filled with great laughs and I don’t want to give any away. I was actually sad when it came to an end and am hopeful the Griswolds will be taking many more Vacations to come. We will defiantly be seeing Vacation again in theaters to catch all the gags we missed the first time around.
